A Pathologic Observation on Spontaneous Testicular Tumors in Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
A total of 146 Sprague-Dawley and Wistar rats from 9 to 15 months of age were examined to observe the incidences and the histopathological characteristics of spontaneous testicular tumor.
1. Twelve cases were diagnosed as testicular tumors and three cases were found bilaterally. The rate was increased in the older age.
2. Histopathologically, the tumors were classified as seminoma, Sertoli cell tumor and interstitial cell tumor.
